Accessing Ebola data

IDDO is currently building a comprehensive platform to host and share data on Ebola virus disease. The technical, governance and ethical framework of the platform will ensure the protection of the rights and privacy of the people and communities from where the data originated.

The Ebola virus disease data sharing platform will be ready in 2017. During this construction period, IDDO is hosting a repository for clinical trial datasets which have approval for data sharing in place. Datasets currently available include:

Dunning, J et al, for the RAPIDE-TKM (Phase II Rapid Assessment of Potential Interventions & Drugs for Ebola-TKM) team. Experimental Treatment of Ebola Virus Disease with TKM-130803: A Single-Arm Phase 2 Clinical TrialPlos Medicine April 19, 2016 http://dx.doi.org/10.1371/journal.pmed.1001997

If you wish to have access to this data, please complete the Ebola Data Access Request form. For more information on requesting access, please see the Ebola Data Access Process Map, which highlights the steps that need to be taken by the applicant and the decision points.

The Wellcome Trust manages the requests and submits them to the Ebola Virus Disease Clinical Trial Data Access Committee for review. The Committee’s Terms of Reference set out the mechanism for considering and authorising applications for access to datasets.
