Trokon joined the IDDO team in November 2018 as a curator. He has been extensively involved with public health data analysis through his management of the fatalities data during the Ebola crisis in Liberia, and now in his current role as Data Manager for the Infectious Disease and Epidemiology Division of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia. As Data Manager, he is the key point of contact for harmonising data across multiple sources and for introducing electronic collection mechanisms for field data. Trokon is increasingly involved in efforts at interoperability, and his involvement in the curation of large-scale datasets will provide critical answers to clinical and public health interventions concerning the Ebola Virus Disease.
Trokon holds a BSc in Biology and a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Environmental and Occupational Health. He also holds certificates in both Frontline and Intermediate Field Epidemiology.
