Paula joined IDDO in autumn 2018. Based at the Centre for Tropical Medicine & Global Health at Oxford University, Paula leads IDDO's communications to encourage and secure engagement from a range of stakeholders, including researchers and clinicians across the infectious diseases community, public health workers, policy makers, donors and the media. 

Paula is part of the IDDO Secretariat Senior Management Team. Prior to joining, Paula led corporate communications for UK internet company, Nominet; and before that ran The Open University press office promoting research and its educational programmes produced in partnership with the BBC. She has held senior consultancy roles in public relations agencies and began her communications career in UK government. Paula speaks French and Italian.
