Brittany Maguire first joined IDDO in August 2017. As the Senior Scientist, she oversees the programme management and scientific research activities and collaborations across the Neglected Poverty Related Diseases (NPRDs) research themes at IDDO. Brittany began work for an international biotechnology company, exposed to multiple roles and activities including marketing and product management before moving into health economics. For over four years Brittany worked at THEMA Consulting where she was a Health Outcomes Analyst, primarily involved in the reimbursement of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Australia and New Zealand covering therapeutic areas including neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology and oncology. Brittany has a Bachelor of Medical Science and Masters in Public Health from the University of Sydney and was part of the Foreign Service Program at the University of Oxford where she attained a PGDip. in Diplomatic Studies.
