Trachoma Research Activities

IDDO facilitates collaborative study groups to undertake individual patient data meta-analyses to answer specific research questions pertinent to trachoma elimination. Gathering and combining datasets from multiple studies allows for the study of differential effects across sub-populations of interest and helps to explore sources of between-study heterogeneity in response to interventions.
