Kongchack Phommachack

Kongchack is a pharmacist with Master’s degree from University of Paris-Descartes, France, focussed on pharmaceutical product quality. He is a Quality, Safety and Efficacy evaluator at the Food and Drug Department, at the Ministry of Health, Lao PDR. He works to ensure that all medicines imported into Laos meet required standards before they reach the public.

Since July 2024, Kongchack has also been involved in the Medicine Quality Research Group’s DAFODIL project on portable screening devices, evaluating scientific publications against defined criteria for inclusion in the dashboard.
