MQRG team delivers training in Mozambique and Ghana

IDDO’s Medicine Quality Research Group delivered in-person training to researchers in Mozambique and Ghana to support a study into the quality of three antibiotics.

Over the summer, Céline Caillet, Deputy Head of Medicine Quality Research Group, and Research Pharmacists Kerlijn Van Assche and Noudy Sengxeu met with the research team from Centro de Investigaçao em Saùde de Manhiça (CISM) in Mozambique and Kintampo Health Research Center (KHRC) in Ghana to deliver in-person training before implementing a study to estimate the quality of three antibiotics (oral tablets/capsules ciprofloxacin, cotrimoxazole and amoxicillin) in the Manhiça and Kamubukwana areas (Mozambique) and Kintampo area (Ghana).
