Penda Touré holds a master's degree in finance and has been responsible for the West Africa Regional Centre's administrative and finance projects since 2011. She administers a number of research grants alongside supporting the coordination of meetings and capacity building workshops for researchers. Penda supported the local organising committee of the 7th Multilateral Initiative on Malaria Conference held in Dakar in April 2018, where she was responsible for the administrative and financial management of the conference.
