IDDO is working with the global visceral leishmaniasis (VL) research community to collate data and deliver robust science to address knowledge gaps and save lives with better treatment. To date, this collaboration has assembled a harmonised clinical trials database containing over 14,000 individual patient data (IPD), representing nearly half of the published sample size from the last 15 years.
Visceral Leishmaniasis Data Platform

The VL Data Platform currently holds over 14000 individual patient data from almost 50 clinical studies spanning all endemic regions. By contributing and accessing data you can promote research that informs clinical practice and public health responses.

Research activities

Led by the VL research community, IDDO pursues collaborative research questions informed by the VL Research Agenda, as well as producing tools and resources for VL clinical research.
