Dr Alie Wurie

Alie is the Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) in Sierra Leone. Prior to that he held senior roles as Director of Noncommunicable Diseases at the Ministry, in Biobanking, and the Public Health National Emergency Operations Centre (PHNEOC).

Dr Wurie has a distinguished earlier career as a public health specialist with involvement in the National Leprosy and TB Control Programme, the National Ebola Response, and as Principal Investigator in Ebola Vaccine Clinical Trials.
