Schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiases (STHs) are parasitic worm infections that affect over a billion people worldwide, causing chronic illness and impaired development, including stunted growth in children.

DATA GOVERNANCE
The IDDO Schisto/STH theme is governed by the IDDO Board, an expert Scientific Advisory Committee, the independent IDDO Data Access Committee, and the IDDO senior management and team leaders. Together, they provide strategic oversight, independent scientific guidance, objective decisions on data access, and day-to-day management of the platform.
