Dr Seth Redmond

Dr Seth Redmond joined IDDO as Head of Data Engineering and AI, where he leads the development of scalable systems to structure and standardise heterogeneous, multi-source datasets for modelling and evidence synthesis.

Seth is a genomic epidemiologist and data scientist whose work combines genetic data and real-world evidence to support decision-making in public and global health. He has experience across malaria, tuberculosis, and other respiratory and vector-borne diseases, and has held roles at the Yale School of Public Health, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the Broad Institute, working across infectious disease surveillance, genomic epidemiology, and applied data science.
