Antimicrobial Resistance in Low and Middle Income Countries: An Analysis of Surveillance Networks

This report describes a wide array of 105 supranational networks, both past and present, concerned with AMR surveillance in LMICs.

The report is one of the outputs of an independent study which was commissioned as scoping work for the Fleming Fund by Wellcome in 2016, and funded by the UK Department of Health. It describes the role of supranational networks in AMR surveillance in LMICs to date and reflects on their impacts and challenges. It also draws out the implications of the analysis for the Global Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System (GLASS).
