Thanaporn Champathai joined WWARN-Asia Regional Center (ARC) as a Laboratory Technician in March 2016 and changed position to Laboratory Support Administrator in January 2017. She is involved in international collaborative projects such as the TRAC study, TME study, IMPROV study, and malaria projects in Bangladesh. Her responsibilities included organizing and coordinating sample and supply shipments from/to collaborating laboratories/study sites, following routine procedures for quality assurance in Specimen Management Centre (SMC), maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory in SMC. Thanaporn completed an MSc in Molecular Science of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Before Joining WWARN, Thanaporn worked as a Medical Research Technologist at the Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Science and as an assistant supervisor in microbiology section at the Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co. Ltd.
