Gemma joined IDDO in March 2019.  As a Data Manager she works on the management and transformation of diverse data sets that are submitted to IDDO and ensures the completeness and accuracy of the data in the IDDO data repository.

She previously worked in the field of Genomics, which included working on clinical trials, analysing large next generation sequencing data sets as well as writing and maintaining methods for liquid handling robotic systems.  Most recently Gemma was a project manager in the single cell facility at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine

Gemma holds a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Portsmouth.
